Before getting started:

Make sure that the power is off to the Jukebox before replacing the player. Failure to do so could result in damaging the CD player or the mechanism control computer and voiding out the warranty. It is best to unplug the Jukebox.

Step 1:

Loosen the two L brackets on top of the player and move them to the side or take them completely off. Always touch a piece of metal on the jukebox to discharge any static electricity that you have on your body before touching the player.

Step 2:

Carefully lift the player straight up and out of the player frame. Just enough to get at the two wire plugs that are attached to the player. Take off the top back plug first by wiggle it side to side until it comes off. Then do the same to the larger bottom plug. The bottom plug is harder to remove. You should use your finger to put pressure on the sides of the plug and work it side to side until it comes off.

Step 3:

Pay attention to the tabs on the top of each plug both male and female plugs. You need to match the end with the tab on the male to the end with the tab on the female end when plugging them back in. FAILURE TO DO THIS WILL END UP IN BLOWING THE PLAYER.

Step 4:

Before installing the replacement player take a look at the pins on the bottom plug that is on the player. See if they are any pins that are bent, if so take a small screwdriver and straighten them out before installing the player. Do not force the bottom plug on. If it does not go in then recheck the pins on the male plug on the player to see if there still might be a bent pin that needs to be fixed before you can plug it in. Always connect the larger bottom plug first and then the top back plug 2nd. This makes it a lot easier.
